One of the earliest and most impactful lessons I've learned along my journey is the age-old wisdom: "If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all." Growing up, I found myself surrounded by people who took pleasure in gossiping and speaking ill of others. As time passed, I began to realize that this negative chatter not only perpetuates toxicity but also comes back around to haunt us. It struck me that, somewhere out there, individuals might be saying the same hurtful things about me and my loved ones. The thought of being on the receiving end was unsettling, igniting an empathetic understanding within me. I made a conscious choice to break free from the cycle of negativity, preferring to contribute kindness and positivity to the world instead.
